Our Story
Adam Mark started early — building and rebuilding PCs, making Geocities sites, and pulling apart routers and Wi-Fi before most people had a home network. That turned into more than 20 years of professional work across infrastructure, networking, security, virtualization, and cloud.
In 2019, Adam founded ALM Technology Solutions in Guelph, Ontario, to be an extension of your IT team, and our longest client relationships go back further than that. If you don't have a team yet, we can act as your senior IT lead while you hire one, and we help interview and train the people you bring on. There are no account managers: the person in your IT meetings is the person doing the work. For most clients that means a weekly IT meeting, help with budgets and vendor negotiations, tested disaster recovery, and regular reporting to leadership on security posture. Adam also leads ALM Security Assessment, our configuration assessment and penetration testing practice.
When a project needs more hands or a specific specialty, Adam brings in associates from a vetted network. Most of our work is remote, and we take on projects across Canada.

Security is part of every build and every change. When a request trades security for convenience, we say so and explain the risk before anyone decides.
Hands-On
Adam leads every engagement and does the work himself. Associates are senior specialists brought in for specific projects, never juniors learning on your network.
No BS
Plain answers, including unwelcome ones. We recommend a product only when it fits, and we'll tell you when something you're paying for has stopped earning its place.
Training Culture
We document what we build and train your staff on it, so your team runs the day-to-day and knows why things are set up the way they are.
